![]() No 'Night Shift' in preferences for my Mac Mini M1 Help. ![]() So it seems that the screen is capable of showing the tones used on night shift, but the computer is not recognizing the night shift. Im trying to schedule light and dark mode for my new Mac mini, but the tab in preference where you do that is missing. I also was able to change the color of my screen to a "yellowish" tone by "callibrating" the color on the display with a lower "white point". ![]() I also have the setting for contrast display to "normal". Schedule: Create a custom Night Shift schedule or have Night Shift turn on automatically from sunset to sunrise. I have grey scale, and invert colors both off. Make sure that your Mac meets the system requirements for Night Shift, then follow these steps: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences. I also looked at the settings for the night shift, and it is at the "warmest" level.įinally, I read that night shift could have issues on iOS if some display accessibility options are on. With all three methods, it seems that night shift is on, but the colors in the display do not get warmer. I also tried turning it on by: method 1: going to system preferences, and by method 2: using the scheduled option. I am able to turn it on on (see image) but the colors do not change.
